Bird Watching

Dandy farm host a large variety of our feathered friends, including a rare falcon, so for all you bird enthusiasts,
bring your binoculars with you.
Our falcon is only resident from may til september so this may give you an idea which falcon it is...
There are lots Buzzards & Herons, we have a kingfisher down by the river, wood pigeons, ravens,  little owls, Barn owls,
 swifts, swallows, Nuthatches, Pied & yellow wagtails, sparrows, great tits, Jays, Jenny wrens, great spotted & lesser spotted wood woodpeckers this is just to name a few.

Walking
There are some lovely walks down by
 Dandy Farm river and
through acres of privtae land on Dandy Farm

Derbyshire Peaks
We are also right on the borders of the Derbyshire Peaks so if you are a keen walker dont forget to bring those walking boots

Adlington Hall

Gardens
  Adlington Hall is just a few hundred yards down the road and the gardens are
Open to the public in July and August on
Sundays and Wednesdays only, between 2pm and 5pm.
